Dr. Mahmoud Fathalla’s address, “A message to the lady of Laetoli” was a major highlight of January’s Global Maternal Health Conference (GMHC2013), and we are pleased to announce that video of his remarks is now available online.
At the time of the GMHC2013, Dr. Fathalla’s remarks inspired several participants to contribute guest posts to the MHTF blog reflecting on the current state of the global movement for maternal health, and to consider different ways that the maternal health community, policy makers and programmers can – and should – work to make progress toward fulfilling the hope for ending preventable maternal deaths that he so eloquently expressed.
