Americares is a US-based global health focused development NGO founded in 1979, with work in 90 countries worldwide. Our mission is to save lives and improve health for people affected by poverty or disaster so they can reach their full potential. The 8 sites in Liberia, Tanzania, Nepal, India, Philippines, Haiti, US and El Salvador are our permanent focal countries where we have offices, staff, MNCH, maternal mental health, reproductive health and family planning and other clinical health programs, and in 90 countries, as the largest provider of donated medicines (including family planning commodities) and medical supplies worldwide, we utilize our supply chains for last mile delivery of goods as part of our primary care and MNCH programs.
